The Thai-Chinese Overseas Trade Association is working with the Sichuan Youth Entrepreneurs Center for International Exchange to create opportunities for young people from Thailand to experience China's rapidly developing technology, innovation, and culture.
The 2026 Thailand Youth Future Technology Camp – Chengdu is the first youth program under this cooperation, bringing Thai students to Sichuan for an immersive experience combining technology, education, cultural exchange, and international friendship.

The Experience
Designed for Thai lower- and upper-secondary students, the program combines technology learning, university visits, hands-on activities, cultural experiences, team challenges, project presentations, and international exchange.
Students will explore how technology is shaping robotics, AI, smart retail, and everyday life while also experiencing the culture and identity of Chengdu.

Chengdu Experience
Students will also experience Chengdu's culture, biodiversity, city life, and unique identity through visits and activities outside the technology program.

Learn about giant pandas, life sciences, biodiversity, conservation, animal behavior, and related scientific study.

Experience traditional streets, architecture, culture, crafts, local life, and the relationship between history and modern Chengdu.

Explore contemporary commercial districts, city landmarks, public spaces, and Chengdu's rapidly developing urban environment.
7-Day Program
The program combines technology learning, university and innovation visits, hands-on experiences, cultural discovery, student challenges, and international exchange throughout Chengdu.
Program activities and visiting times may be adjusted according to venue availability, safety requirements, and operational conditions.

Students will also use learning records / mission materials during the program to document activities, observations, and challenges.
For Parents
Students participate as part of an organized youth group, with scheduled activities, the program team, group leaders, and safety instructions throughout the camp.
Unified group management throughout the program, with group leaders and members of the program team accompanying students throughout the trip.
Safety instructions are provided before relevant activities, including technology demonstrations and hands-on experiences.
Program transportation between scheduled venues is arranged as part of the group itinerary.
The program operates in English, with Thai support for important safety instructions and student coordination.
Students follow a planned daily schedule with orientation, learning activities, challenges, cultural visits, and group activities. Program activities may be adjusted if required by safety, venue availability, or operational conditions.
Regular attendance checks and student supervision are carried out throughout the program.
International travel and activity insurance is included in the program package.

Payment is made in two stages. A 50% deposit of THB 26,000 is required after the student’s participation has been approved. The remaining balance of THB 26,000 is due within 14 days after the deposit payment.

No payment is required when submitting the initial reservation form. After the student is accepted, the parent or guardian will receive payment instructions for the 50% deposit. The remaining 50% must be paid within 14 days after the deposit payment.

The program team will provide participants with a final document checklist before departure. Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring that all required documents are valid and complete.

Participants are responsible for having valid passports and all documents required for international travel.
For students under 18, the required documents may include a birth certificate, proof of relationship to the parent or legal guardian, and a parental authorization or consent document for overseas travel.
Where required, the parental authorization must be prepared and certified at the relevant district office (Amphoe/Khet) and should be issued within 30 days before the date of travel.
Parents or legal guardians are responsible for ensuring that all travel documents, consent documents, identification copies, and other supporting documents are complete, accurate, valid, and available for inspection by immigration or other authorities.
The program team may provide guidance and a document checklist, but final responsibility for meeting immigration and travel-document requirements remains with the participant and parent or legal guardian.
